Here (content of the Missouri quilter) Triple Play is a favorite tradition here at Missouri Star. Once a month, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie each demonstrate their own, unique take on a favorite block, technique, or template. In this episode, the talented Doan ladies are using the Round Robin technique to build one BIG quilt.
They’re calling it Sparkling Stars, and it sure is pretty! Jenny designed the center of the quilt with easy 9-patches and half-square triangle lemoyne stars, Misty added a pretty layer of quarter-square triangles and sawtooth star blocks, and Natalie finished it off with a gorgeous pieced border.

This quilt Sparkling Stars Triple was made three different times with three different fabric lines, and it’s so fun to see how different each quilt came out: Jenny’s quilt: “Holiday Charms” by Studio RK for Robert Kaufman Natalie’s quilt: “Made My Day” by Anna Maria for Free Spirit Fabrics Misty’s quilt: “Gingham Foundry” by My Mind’s Eye for Riley Blake Designs.[et_bloom_inline optin_id=optin_5]
So if you are thinking about making this wonderful pattern for your Christmas start now and of course you can add or change the colors at your discretion or your face Remembering that any pattern that you download to make it you can use all your creativity and still have patterns that do not need to use creativity by itself it already does wonders.
The big question about this pattern is the following: if it is composed of 4 blocks can I increase the blocks or decrease it to the size I want? If you can decrease and of course you can also increase the block or the amount of block used for example: this pattern contains four blocks you can increase to 5 blocks or to three blocks.
We hope you enjoyed this wonderful pattern.
