Free Pattern Timeless by Jo Morton – my.modafabrics.com

Do you know why we started this article speaking this way? Because there was an editor, Jo Morton, who had the beautiful idea of making this timeless pattern. And it’s about this pattern that right free and treat.

Timeless by Jo Morton and my.modafbrics.com is a pattern that pulls a lot of red tone with brown and shades of both colors gives that impression of being rustic but at the same time with a soft futuristic touch of course the futuristic part is on my own but anyway this is a pattern that you can use it in many ways.

With the size of 71 “x 82” you can use it in your home first of all saying the way you want, the fact is that I can’t come from here and tell you to use it on your desk use it on your bed or use it on your plate stand or use it on top of your dish room each person uses one of the way they want to, right?

But because it is such a beautiful boss that I have a certain refinement we imagine a home then exquisite with cozy bush that you can create it Maybe to put on a nice day Say probably above your bed as if it were a kind of rustic comforter.

Perhaps you can also use it as a wonderful table runner the thickness and size you can define, you don’t necessarily have to make a pattern in the size that the editor is saying you can make as you need, in fact this pattern is fantastic for you to use anywhere.

Particularly we will be doing here for our house this pattern as if it was a kind of sofa lining our sofa has five places or five people sit for each place of the sofa our idea is to do in this size this pattern in 5 quantity of 5 and for each one place put one of it so that when the person arrives can sit on top.

We had this idea because sometimes we sit on the sofa and as sometimes our house receives visitors is a way to even leave the protection as well as nice and cozy and even because our sofa is black and came out a perfect combination Free Pattern Timeless by Jo Morton.

Of course you can use as you wish in a Free Pattern Timeless here recently we posted a reading asked us in the Face group if she could use the pattern as if it were a carpet in her living room or paying attention to the boss we did not see a possibility for this however in the end we answered her that from the moment a publisher makes a pattern the person who is doing it can use the way they wish and neither Publisher nor we are against it.

We’ve covered complementary colour schemes – now let’s turn things up a notch and talk split complementary. As you may know, a complementary colour scheme is created with two colours directly across from one another on the colour wheel.

Continuing in the sarne vein, a split complementary colour scheme is created when you combine a base colour with the two colours adjacent to the base’s complement. To visualise, a split complementary palette with red as the base colour would also include yellow-green and green-blue (as green is the complement to red).

Unlike other colour schemes, there are vast combinations to be made from split complementary shades and, Quilt Pattern Floral Elements is most excitingly, each one is as bea utiful as the last !

When it comes to quilting, I love to use split complementary colours to pull interesting palettes for holiday projects. This Quilt Pattern Floral Elements really can be used in/as holidays projects.

SEE ALSO: Quilt Pattern Homemade Holiday

With one warm and two cold colours in each combination (or vice versa), it’s easy to create a soft balance that’s perfect for any time of year. let’s start by talking about the aforementioned colour combination of red with yellow-green and green-blue.

Doesn’t that sound like the perfect modem festive combo? How about using purple as a base colour with orangeyellow and yellow-green as its secondary shades? What a great off-beat palette for  a fun Halloween project, remember what Quilt Pattern Floral Elements also can be used.

Another example of split complementary colour used to celebrate a holiday is in the American tradition of Mardi Gras. On Fat Tuesday (or Shrove Tuesday for my UK friends), we don beaded necklaces and masks in the contrasting combo of violet, yellow and green to celebrate the beginning of lent.

You need know that pattern Floral Elements, PDF and idea are made by AGF – Art Gallery Fabrics and you can see lots fabrics perfect to your work here in artgalleryfabrics.com. For me are the best fabrics to buy.

ln my fabric pull this month l’ve gone for a combination that’s one of my favourites: orange, blue-green and blue-violet. I have always loved orange – it’s such an underrated colour, a nd balances so well with the other two accent shades.

There’s a strong visual contrast for Quilt Pattern Floral Elements, yet the impact is easier on the eye than complementary. This palette really feels special and different to me.

Out of all of the colour schemes, split complementary is one of the easiest and most fun to play with. Next time you’re agonising over fabrics, check out a colour wheel and discover the array of interesting combinations you can make. You’II be surprised by just how many variations there are.

Patterns like these are very beautiful for the assembly that is made the cuttings of the fabric. And if you observe the orange is a very beautiful color tone that reminds us of a time sunset or sunrise, well the truth this differs from Taste to taste or what condition the condition we are.

Sunshine Slice of Life Baby Quilt

Quilts with a summer theme can also be used year round, especially when they’re this cheerful. Design a stroller quilt for your little one or for an expecting mother. Such an easy baby quilt pattern allows you to use any color scheme you’d like, and it’s just as easy to improve the shapes and characters included in your quilt block patterns.

Perfect Sunshine Slice of Life Baby Quilt
Perfect Sunshine Slice of Life Baby Quilt

I love “no rules” quilting – or just making it up as I go, with a basic idea (or sketch!) in mind. I wanted this quilt to work as a “stroller quilt” for my baby-on-the-way. It needed to be gender neutral in color (and to match my orange stroller!), and also be fun and happy in design. SEE ALSO: Large Hexagon Quilt Tutorial

I used a few different Fiskars Shape templates to create my sun and tree blocks, and then pieced together my house block to finish off my “You are my Sunshine” theme. Take this basic quilt sketch and turn it into anything you like – change the color scheme and/or create different focal point block designs… Just have fun!

Note: My finished quilt measures 30 x 31 inches. To work from the sketch and increase the size of your finished quilt, simply make your rows of rectangle patches longer and/or add additional rows of rectangles (i.e. 4 or more instead of my 3).

Materials:

  • Rotary Cutter
  • Mat
  • Fiskars circle shape template and oval shape template
  • Scissors

Instructions:

1) Start by using the Fiskars rotary cutter and mat to trim three blocks of fabric for your focal block bases (trim to 7.5 inches tall by 5.5 to 8 inches wide).

2) For the “Sun” block: Use the Fiskars circle shape template to trim a circle from orange fabric. Place circle in the middle of the block, trim rectangle strips (rays) from orange fabric and arrange around sun. Pin all in place and use a straight top stitch (close to edges of design) to appliqué to block. Don’t worry about edges fraying later when washed – this will add to the charm of the quilt.

3) For “Tree” block: Use the Fiskars oval shape template to trim an oval from green fabric. Trim trunk from brown fabric – I sketched my trunk shape onto paper, trimmed the paper and then traced onto my brown fabric.

4) Arrange your “tree” onto the center of your block. First pin green oval only and appliqué using a close zig-zag stitch around the oval. Then arrange your trunk back into place, pin and and appliqué using a close zig-zag stitch around the edge.

5) For “House” block: I pieced my block together from the starting point – there are many tutorials online that can walk you through the steps. To create a similar block you could also just trim the square and triangle shapes using Fiskars microtip No. 5 scissors and appliqué in place.

6) After your focal blocks are created, trim the rectangles that will go next to them. All rectangles should be 7.5 inches tall – width is up to you! (each of my finished rectangle strips measured 7.5 tall x 24 inches long.

7) Arrange rectangles with focal blocks, similar to sketch shown, and then sew together using ¼ inch inseams. Press seams all in one direction on backside.

Perfect Sunshine Slice of Life Baby Quilt

8) After three rectangle rows are finished, trim white “sashing” to go in between and around. Sashing strips should be 3.25 inches in width.) Trim 2 pieces the length of your rectangle rows. Place between rectangle rows, pin and sew all together with ¼ inch inseams. Press seams all in one direction.

10) Trim sashing strips for top, bottom, and sides of quilt top. Pin and sew, then press seams.Really wonderful isn’t it?

Sofa cover with free patterns pockets

Sofa cover with free patterns pockets is a different pattern used especially at home where there are more than 2 people who love to sit together and even alone watching a good TV show or even a good game of Basketball, Baseball, Football or other sport that has more affinity. Of course we can’t forget us who enjoy a good tea or coffee watching our favorite series or a good movie for two.

Sofa cover with free patterns pockets

Sofa cover with free patterns pockets
Sofa cover with free patterns pockets

Sofa cover with free patterns pockets is not just a pattern to make your sofa prettier or match your home décor, but a useful pattern for all possible moments such as keeping a remote control, a magazine, a notebook for notes while we are watching a cooking program with fantastic recipes.

It’s also not just a useful sofa cover, it’s also an organizing cover especially for those who have a husband let’s say a little more “inattentive” in organizing the TV room. Let’s face it, it’s terrible when we tidy up our house and someone comes to make everything messy.

This sofa cover has this great help, because even when “they” have that “laziness” to help in the house, Sofa cover with free patterns pockets comes as a helper because by itself it already gives incentive for the man or children to keep things in their proper place.

Another advantage of Sofa cover with free patterns pockets is that its pattern allows us to quickly remove or place the cover without difficulty. And to wash? That’s a good part. Depending on which pattern you’re washing, it looks much better, and of course if you use a fabric that can be dry-cleaned, it’s even better!

In fact, no matter how many places our sofa has, or its size, or how much we have inside, the fact is that this cover can be used in many different environments, places and sofas.
We can also use this cover adapting it for example in a chair for the car, for Dad’s rest chair, for the truck your husband can work on and think of the present for Father’s Day!

The most important thing in fact is that you do your best to use it at home, no matter if it is this cape or another, but we will always be bringing more and more news for you like this.

This article will bring you two PDF’s with the same pattern but each one contains the same information but placed in different ways for you to have exactly an idea of what that pattern is like.  The Designer is from Pat Wodskow of Cuddle Soft Quilt Kits.

All in one sleep bag – Better Free Pattern

In an easy way you will now have a brief reading of how the pattern is made and the materials that are used to make it. I highly recommend that you read it to understand before downloading the PDF or even after, so that you can learn about it and make your pattern splendidly.

Materials for One Nap Sack

All in one sleep bag 01
All in one sleep bag
  • 1-3⁄8 yards aqua novelty print plush fabric (nap sack exterior)
  • 1-3⁄8 yards white novelty print plush fabric (lining, straps)
  • 5⁄8 yard circle print plush fabric (pillow)
  • Polyester fiberfill

Finished pillow: 17″ square

Finished nap sack: 27×43″

Yardages and cutting instructions are based on 60″ of usable fabric width. Measurements include 1⁄2″ seam allowances unless otherwise stated. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.

Cut Fabrics

Cut pieces in the following order.

From aqua novelty print plush fabric, cut:

  • 1-45×56″ rectangle
  • 2-2-1⁄2×19″ strips for straps

From white novelty print plush fabric, cut:

  • 1-45×56″ rectangle
  • 2-2-1⁄2×19″ strips for straps

From circle print plush fabric, cut:

  • 3-18″ squares

 Assemble Straps

  1. With right sides together and using a 1⁄4″ seam allowance, join an aqua print plush 2-1⁄2×19″ strip and a white print plush 2-1⁄2×19″ strip along each long edge, leaving short ends open (Diagram 1).
  2. Turn right side out through one short end. Topstitch 1⁄2″ from seams to make a strap. Repeat to make a second strap.

Assemble Pillow

  1. Place circle print plush fabric 18″ square right side up with nap going down. Mark center of square along top edge. Place one end of a strap 1″ from center mark (Diagram 2); pin. Place remaining end of strap on adjacent side of square, 12″ from top edge; pin. Repeat with remaining strap. Baste straps in place to make pillow back.
  2. Place a second circle print plush fabric 18″ square right side down with nap going down. Fold up 1″ along one edge; pin (Diagram 3). Topstitch fold next to raw edge to hem and make pillow front.
  3. Lay pillow back right side up on a flat surface. Align top edge of pillow front with top edge of pillow back. Place remaining circle print plush fabric 18″ square right side down atop layers, making sure direction of nap matches pillow front and pillow back nap.
  4. Sew around three sides of layered pieces, leaving bottom edge open (Diagram 4). Trim corners to reduce bulk. Turn right side out to make pillow. Stuff pillow about three fourths full between pillow back and middle square. It should bepartially filled, but not full, as you fold the sleeping bag inside this pocket.
  5. Hand-stitch bottom of pillow closed. The hand stitching will be inside the bag, so it will not show, but it helps keep the fiberfill inside the pillow as you sew together the pillow and sleeping bag.

SEE ALSO: Perfect Sunshine Slice of Life Baby Quilt

 Assemble Nap Sack

    1. Fold aqua novelty print plush fabric 45×56″ rectangle in half with right side inside to make a 28×45″ rectangle; pin. Starting 10″ from top, sew together side and bottom edges to make sleeping bag exterior (Diagram 5). Turn right side out.
    2. Using white novelty print plush fabric 45×56″ rectangle, repeat Step 1 to make lining, leaving a 10″ opening in bottom seam for turning (Diagram 6). Do not turn lining right side out.
    3. Insert sleeping bag exterior inside lining with right sides together. Align raw edges and side seams; pin.
    4. Pin right side of pillow back (with straps) to right side of nap sack exterior back, about 5″ from each side edge of sleeping bag exterior (Diagram 7). Sew together around top edge and along open side edges. Designer Pat Wodskow suggests basting this seam first since there are five layers to keep aligned  to your All in one sleep bag.
    5. Turn right side out through opening in lining. Topstitch along top and side seams.
    6. Hand-stitch opening in bottom of lining closed to com plete nap sackbag.

7. To secure lining to exterior, turn nap sack inside out and make a few hand tack stitches attaching the corner of lining to the exterior seam. This will keep the lining from coming out as the child climbs in and out of the sack.
